Musician & Mystic

I started to play music in the age of 10 shortly after my father had passed away. The music became a major part of my healing journey; a space to integrate the emotional pain, express it and transform it into melodies and songs. In that sense music was 'medicine' for me from the very beginning, it was my save space and temple, gave me courage, dedication and hope. 

Later on music lead me to a troubadour life, to many years of traveling and mystical encounters with Yogis, Sufis, Shamans and spiritual masters from Eat and West. It's been magical and I learned and integrated different musical styles as well as  ancient knowledge of sound. It became a passion for me to research the power of music and sound; in contemporary science, Sufism, the Yoga tradition and music therapy.

'Music is Medicine' for body , mind and soul and in some miraculous way touches our whole being.   

It's soon been 50 years in the field of music and some new understanding and wisdom is slowly growing from within; a perspective of music that is relevant for the harmony of life, for healing, balance, spiritual growth, wellbeing and happiness. 

Music and art have always been driving forces for human evolution and we need human wisdom, creativity and goodness to master the challenges and complexity of modern life, to find a balance with technology and keep a meaningful relationship with nature, culture and people. This is what I want to share with you here in this blog.
